Quality Output
As manufacturing is a core activity, we also comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations, including ICH Q7 guidelines which are formalized specifically for the manufacturing and quality control of APIs. These regulations are followed in our plant for all processes ranging from material receipt to product dispatch.
Two vital components of our QMS are our QA (Quality Assurance) and QC (Quality Control) activities. QA includes all the actions taken to ensure that the QMS processes and GMP guidelines are followed rigorously. QA activities also include audits, both internal and external. QC includes the tasks which check whether products, at all stages of production, meet with the specified requirements. QC involves stringent testing which eventually decides whether a finished product is to be released or rejected.
Our commitment to quality continues unabated as we periodically evaluate the performance of our QMS and take the appropriate actions to ensure continuous improvement of our organization as a whole.

Sustainability
Sustainability at Aastrid Life Sciences is at the core of our plant design and operations. Recognising the critical importance of environmental responsibility, Aastrid Life Sciences has implemented various initiatives to minimise its carbon footprint and promote sustainable development. Our state-of-the-art plant has Solar Power for renewable energy, SCADA to optimise power consumption, a Zero Liquid Discharge Effluent Plant and Sewage Treatment Plant to recycle water and multiple Two-Stage scrubbers for the prevention of air pollution. We have made the reuse and recycling of our scrap packing material a way of life. We foster a culture of sustainability awareness and provide regular training and education to its workforce, empowering employees to contribute to sustainable practices both within the company and in their personal lives.
Health and Safety
Safety is paramount at Aastrid Life Sciences. With a deep commitment to the well-being of our employees, stakeholders, and the operational communities, we have established a compatible framework to ensure the highest health and safety standards are upheld throughout the operations. Regular safety audits, risk assessments, and training programmes are conducted to ensure that all employees are well-informed and equipped to prioritize their individual safety and the safety of their fellow employees. Aastrid Life Sciences complies with all necessary health and safety regulations and standards. We continuously monitor and evaluate our manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement the latest safety practices and technologies.
Aastrid Life Sciences has introduced automated firefighting system and automated solvent management system to enhance. We have SCADA to monitor reactions and PLC control on boilers, ETP, MEE and chillers. This reduces accident risk and optimises energy consumption.
