Aastrid uses strong Research and Development capabilities to develop and manufacture niche intermediates and speciality chemicals which are widely used in Pharmaceutical and allied industries. Such intermediates are generally sourced from various other countries, but Aastrid strives to provide a viable, indigenous and cost-effective alternative for global demand.
Our proven R&D capabilities have made us the vendor of choice for many of the top pharma companies in India and across the globe. We have successfully developed more than 500 different molecules which are at various stages on the way to commercialization. We have the capability to develop niche products and also have a reputation for innovation and developing completely new intermediates from scratch. Our strength is our quick turnaround time when faced with a complex challenge.
We have recently set up a new, ultra-modern manufacturing facility in Mahad. This has been meticulously planned and designed to comply with the best international standards in terms of infrastructure and manufacturing capabilities. Well-equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and Instruments, the facility is capable of carrying out a wide range of complex reactions and is a strategic hub to further our agenda of progressive innovation and commercialization. This new facility is a vital part of our growth plans.
